  • In my mind I can picture him sitting in a chair at the far corner of your kitchen table. Just in from a long day in the fields. He’s wearing a checkered shirt that matches the colour of his cheeks and he has a big grin on his face when he greets me. The cheeks are either the result of a long day in the sun, or the whiskey sitting in front of him. Probably a bit of both. I’m thankful for the memories of those summer days from my childhood that your family was a part of and I’ll always remember them fondly. Whiskey isn’t my drink of choice but I’ll raise a glass in his memory tonight. Thinking of you all. - Posted by: Shel Allan (Muchele Debison) (Family…once or twice removed) on: Mar 26, 2026

  • So sad to hear this sad news of Joe's passing. "Joey" as he was known to the Petrowski family was a good friend of my Dad's (John Petrowski) and was in my parents wedding party. Handsome man through out his life and was always kind and had a Hello Joanie every time I saw him. He was always mentioned with respect whenever we had a family reunion of the Petrowski's and we often heard of some sort of story about him when they talked about their shenanigans growing up in Felsendorf, Rest easy Joey - so deserving to a hard working family man and friend.
